A bit difficult to load with the cylinder on the pistol. I suppose modifying the area above the cylinder would make it easier. But, they shoot well! Had waited a long time for them to come back into stock.
Being self sufficient is one of the things that allows me to pursue my affection for firearms and the purchase of these bullets is a step in the right direction. I will at some point purchase the molds and lead to make my own. May need these items in the future. Both .36 and .44 are the best I have been able to acquire and an addition of a Kibler rifle will round out my black powder collection.
44 cal. 220 gr. Johnston & Dow Bullet
The 44 cal bullet is a great product.
Easy to load direct in pistol because of the tapered base. But, they are REALLY challenging to use in making paper cartridges. I thought they would fit inside the paper easier which they do, but I have a devil of a time getting base glues to paper using your cartridge kit.
