This paper cartridge forming kit is for the 12 gauge shotgun pistol known as the Diablo/Desperado. These are 209 primer guns, and the kit is as yet untested in standard percussion shotguns. 
 
Everything you need to build these paper cartridges is included in this kit except the powder, cap, projectiles, and wads.  It comes in a nice Berry's Ammo Can. 
 
We sell a starter kit of the wads, and molds to make your own slugs. All gas seals and wads featured in our videos are from Ballistic Products:
 
The long pin is matched to the size of a TrueWave jumbo hair end wrap. This is used for the body of the paper cartridge.  The end of the cartridge utilizes standard cigarette rolling papers. We supply Elements brand rice papers with our kit, but any rolling paper should work fine.  We suggest a 1" circle cutter, which is available at Michaels. 
 
Cut the paper shorter for cartridges that do not have a long wad, then flush up the bottom of the paper with the bottom of the pin when you glue it.  Any size cartridge can be formed this way, with any combination of powder volume, wad, and projectile. 
 
The dipper included in this kit is 100 grains. This far exceeds the manufacturer's recommendations for this gun, so you should develop a load that works for you, starting small and working up.

Everything I needed to quickly and easily make Paper Cartridges. A few surfaces not as smooth as others. I would recommend this product.

Learning curve

I can't write with any authority concerning how well this functions. The 6 I have assembled so far have functioned but, with the exception of 2 of my cartridges, have had some degree of defect that prevented easy loading. I'll rewatch the tutorial video and hopefully learn from that.

Makes a day of plinking so much easier!

This is my 1st paper cartridge kit & I wanted to try it out. Boy was I glad I did! This kit contains darn near everything you need. I selected the kit that also came with the wallet & an extra brass bar for quick loading. This is very well made & functions great. It didn't take me long to become a paper cartridge pro!

12 gauge kit with starter wads worth it.

I have several deluxe/master kits from cartridgekits.com. Put together my first 12 gauge shot and also punkin ball loads last night. Will shoot today once warms up but they load well in my Desperado.

Get the wads starter kit and enjoy.
Now when family visits I can have cartridges prepared in advance so we can shoot balloons etc. with quick reloads.

Makes a fun gun, funner...
